Every day at Hesten Hill Rehab begins with a wholesome breakfast, prepared by our skilled chefs. Nutrition is an essential component of a holistic treatment approach, and our healthy breakfasts will give you the energy you need for a productive day.
After breakfast, we have a mandatory check-in at a designated area, where we inquire about your progress and outline the treatment plans for the day. This is a good opportunity to raise any concerns you may have. We will always listen to you with an open mind.
Weekday morning activities range from yoga to aqua therapy sessions, followed by a 12-Step Minnesota model meeting, nutritional awareness classes, or communal therapy sessions. On weekdays, lunch is provided at noon. If you have been prescribed any medication, our on-site nurses can assist in taking it at this time.
After lunch, we typically hold group therapy sessions, one-on-one counselling, spa treatments, or workouts in the gym with a personal trainer. After group therapy, we hold supplementary therapy sessions, such as art therapy and holistic health activities.
Afternoon activities usually conclude with our wide range of mindfulness exercises, which complements the progress you have made with our core treatments.
Once the day’s therapeutic sessions, counselling, and meditations come to an end, dinner will be provided, followed by occasional off-site meetings. We often have movie nights as well. Of course, if you prefer, you can simply retire to your private room to rest well after a fulfilling and productive day.
On Saturdays, we arrange off-site activities that include exciting excursions to famous tourist attractions, while every Sunday includes a relaxing lunch and sightseeing trip.
